Community Safety Advisory: Shooting reported at area school
Wake Forest wants to make its community aware of a reported shooting near Reynolds High School and Wiley Middle School (about three miles from both Wake Forest’s Reynolda Campus and Wake Downtown). Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools have put both schools on lockdown and are updating parents and students about what to do.
There is no reason to believe that the suspect in the reported shooting is on or near campus. The campus community will be updated should the risk to our area change.
Follow the Winston-Salem Police Department’s X account and other local news sources for updates as the situation develops.
