University Police are investigating four electric scooter thefts that occurred on the Reynolda Campus on Nov. 30 and want to make the Wake Forest community aware. 

Between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., four male juveniles took unsecured scooters from the Angelou Hall area. After riding the scooters on campus, one suspect left a scooter near Greene Hall and took another from there. All four suspects then left campus on the scooters.  

Anyone with any information regarding these investigations is asked to call University Police at 336.758.5591, email dispatch@wfu.edu or submit the Report a Crime form.

The campus community is encouraged to take additional safety and security precautions, including:

  • Report suspicious persons or criminal activity by calling WFUPD at 336.758.5911 or submitting the Report a Crime form.
  • Download the Wake Safe app.
  • Visit the Wake Alert website to sign up for alerts and stay up-to-date on information during an emergency.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Emergency (blue light) phone locations around campus.
  • Keep your car doors and windows locked at all times.
  • Use locks on lockers, scooters and bicycles.
  • Register your personal property with the University Police to discourage theft.
  • Attend crime prevention programs.

University Police encourages students, faculty and staff to promptly report suspicious activity they may observe on and off campus. With immediate concerns, all are encouraged to call the emergency number.
